There is a certain power to our thoughts.
What we think of, we will become.
What we pursue, we can attain.

Like attracts like.
Knowing the secrets to this can give us the ability to draw all good things unto ourselves.
Jesus says:
"Ask, Believe and Receive"
This movement tries to give us the skills to do so.

Law of Attraction

The Law of Attraction has been used by people for millennia. There is no doubt to the benefits of positive thought, faithful belief, and motivated action.  The roots of the Law of Attraction can be found in a range of ancient practices, and Eastern teachings.  It was referred to in Buddhist writings and well as in Christianity.  It was the Buddha who famously said, “Our thoughts make us what we are”.

The phrase “Law of Attraction” did not really come into play until the work of Madame Helena Blavatsky.  She emphasized our ability to shape reality, and our power to move past our own limitations, believing that our thoughts define not only who owe are, but what we are capable of.

In 1906 William Walker Atkinson pursued this further by teaching that we need to focus on strengthening our own willpower, improve our focus, and that this will attract good things into our lives.  In his lifetime the wrote over 100 books on the power of manifestation using some of the beliefs of ancient Hindi spiritual teachings.

In 1910 Wallace Wattles pursued this concept with the writing of his book “The Science of Getting Rich” which continues to be read to this day.  One of his key messages was the belief that we have access to our own success.  Each person can develop their own potential, even without being taught by experts or being born into a privileged position or set of circumstances.

In 1937 Napoleon Hill because famous after outlining his Law of Attraction techniques in his book “Think and Grow Rich” showing that we can overcome challenges using manifestation tools to create a happy fulfilling life.  Other teachers like, Robert Collier, Charles Haanel, devoted much of their lives teaching and following these beliefs and making both themselves and others very wealthy and successful.

But this movement has gained more publicity, and power in our own time with the writing of Rhonda Byrne’s book “The Secret”.
This book and movie present the views of many prominent success stories that use the Law of Attraction.  They stress setting goals, learning new ways of thinking, and gratitude as a means of manifesting what you want.  This book has sold over 20 million copies.

Currently there are many successful people and celebrities that draw upon the methods of the Law of Attraction.  Will Smith, Jim Carey, Oprah Winfrey, and Connor McGregor have credited this to their success, and have promoted this belief to others.

Other followers include:
Kanye West, Lady Gaga, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Steve Harvey.

In the areas where the teachings of this movement fall in line with the one true way (HODOS) we will promote these ideas as well.
Keep in mind, this is not a religion with a goal of salvation, but rather a belief which is intended to help people succeed in life.
Many of its teachings hold some power.
Our hope is that seeing some of them work will encourage you to tap into the unlimited power of the one true path that can heal body and soul (HODOS) and understand the ways that our Creator has given us gifts and abilities to tap into his very nature.
